The US has been a go-getter for the week as the Caribbean has seen the drug company Pfizer taking a step too far in its search for an ally in the fight against male erectile dysfunction (ED).
In an email this week, Pfizer's US physician Dr John Witty said that Viagra, or sildenafil, is "the best medicine available to a man for the treatment of erectile dysfunction".
A Pfizer spokesperson said the company is "reviewing all available clinical trials" to try to find the one that will be most successful for the UK.
Pfizer is "in the process of updating its website and making changes to the product packaging and labeling".
In the US, Viagra has received a $100m settlement with the US Food and Drug Administration, the first time a US company has entered into such a deal with a drugmaker.
In a statement, Pfizer said: "Our U. S. operations in the US are aligned with the ongoing patent expiry of Pfizer's Viagra patent and the continued efforts by the pharmaceutical industry to continue advancing innovative treatments for ED."
It's not clear whether the drug maker will get the company's blessing, but Pfizer has already told the US Food and Drug Administration that the company would be "appropriate to review the Viagra settlement with Pfizer" under the terms of the agreement with the US company.
Shares of Pfizer closed at $24.06 in afternoon trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Friday, down 1.5%.

The company's patent for the drug Viagra, which has been on patent for more than 40 years, expires on March 21. It will be marketed by Pfizer in the US by the end of the year.
Pfizer shares closed up 2.12 per cent at $27.05 on the New York Stock Exchange on Friday.
The US patent for Viagra expires on March 21. Pfizer is seeking to delay the expiration of the patent by a week by the end of this year.
The Viagra patent expired in 2004, giving Pfizer the right to market the drug for as long as it wants. It remains valid for up to two years after the patent expires.
Viagra has been the subject of criticism for being too expensive for a generic drugmaker, especially after it had to pay $100m for a bottle of the drug from its patent expiry in December. The company was also criticised for not having enough patent protection to keep the drug from entering the US market.
In January, the US Federal Trade Commission said Pfizer had lost patent protection on the drug because of "multiple negative side effects, including an allergic reaction, difficulty in swallowing, and difficulty breathing".
The Commission also said it was concerned that the Viagra patent "appears too narrow" to include the use of Viagra in women.
The Commission said Pfizer "has no right to exclude women from using the medication for any purpose other than the purposes of this patent, which are defined in the patent."

Pfizer has already told the US Food and Drug Administration that the company would be "appropriate to review all available clinical trials" to find out what the drug's side effects would be.
Pfizer is also seeking the US Food and Drug Administration to stop the US generic drug company from marketing the drug Viagra as it is now known to be more expensive than its branded version.
The US physician said that the company is "reviewing all available clinical trials" to find out the one that will be most successful for the UK.
